Kittay House is located on a secure, 5-acre "garden oasis" in the Bronx, part of the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Campus of The Jewish Home & Hospital. Our 295 sunny, private, studio and one-bedroom apartments offer comfortable and safe independent living for people 62 and better. Kittay House pioneered the concept of independent living with supportive services back in 1970. We're part of the landmark Mitchell-Lama affordable housing program, supervised by the New York State Division of Housing and Community Renewal (DHCR), committed to equal opportunity housing.
